potential female users of financial services at two financial institutions in Guatemala and Honduras
Financial Education for All is an initiative that strengthens the financial well-being of women in Guatemala and Honduras through culturally relevant, gender-sensitive programs. In partnership with PRISMA and the FDL Foundation, two programs were designed: one on personal finance for users of financial services and another on business finance for women entrepreneurs. Both are offered in-person and through self-paced online formats. The project includes an educational toolkit with guides, infographics, podcasts, videos, and a digital chatbot to expand its reach. Additionally, staff at financial institutions were trained to ensure the model’s sustainability and promote greater use of gender-sensitive products and services.
