Who are we?

CECI strengthens the economic development capacities of disadvantaged communities. Benin

Consultant for the preparation of an environmental and social impact assessment

CECI is recruiting a consultant to conduct an environmental and social impact assessment as part of the “Making Trade Work for Women in West Africa” project. Implemented in partnership with TradeMark Africa and supported by Global Affairs Canada, this project aims to strengthen the participation of women entrepreneurs in regional trade in West Africa.

This strategic mandate addresses key current challenges related to sustainable trade practices. It involves analyzing the environmental impacts of high-potential value chains, particularly in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, and identifying concrete solutions tailored to the realities faced by women entrepreneurs. The study will also help develop an Environmental and Social Management Plan to support the transition toward more sustainable and inclusive economic models.

This mandate is intended for experts or firms wishing to contribute to innovative approaches that link economic development, regional trade, and the ecological transition.
