CECI is an international organization working towards sustainable and inclusive development.
We work together with our partners to strengthen the economic opportunities of women and young people in a sustainable manner and promote the full realization of the rights of women and girls.

Working alongside women and youth, CECI develops economic models grounded in innovation, sustainability, and agency. We foster access to economic opportunities, support the development of inclusive business environments, and integrate climate solutions that strengthen community resilience.

CECI works to ensure that women and girls can fully exercise their rights, including access to education and health, live in safe environments, and participate in the decisions that shape their communities. We collaborate with local organizations and women’s rights movements to help shift social norms and strengthen essential services.

CECI implements and co-creates open, participatory governance processes in which women, youth, and marginalized groups play a central role. The organization also delivers targeted humanitarian initiatives that strengthen safety, social cohesion, and collective capacity to respond to crises.

With a strong presence in Haiti since 1971 and in Latin America since the 1990s, CECI is working to economically develop women entrepreneurs, prevent gender-based violence, strengthen agrifood systems, and build social tourism. In Haiti, CECI focuses its efforts on governance, fair and inclusive local development, community adaptation to climate change, and the promotion of women's rights.
