Where do my donations go?
All donations go to CECI, its projects, and activities. CECI has adopted a strict code of ethics and submits each year to an independent audit to verify the accuracy of its figures. In addition, to make the use of donations more transparent, CECI regularly communicates with its donors on the progress of its projects through its annual report and newsletters.

How can we guarantee the security and confidentiality of online donations?
All donation forms on this site are secure. With the collaboration of a trusted software company, CECI has set up a dedicated web page to ensure the complete security of online donations. The data you enter is encrypted, making it impossible for anyone to intercept the communication. CECI do not have access to your credit card number.
CECI has adopted extremely strict rules for the management of its donors' personal information. Our lists are neither sold nor exchanged, in whole or in part. We give you a 100% guarantee that only fundraising staff can read the information you send us electronically. Only fundraising staff have access to them.
When will I receive a tax receipt?
CECI's policy is to systematically issue a tax receipt for all donations of $20 or more. We make sure you receive your receipt as soon as possible. Rest assured that if you make a donation before December 31, you will receive a receipt for the calendar year in question. However, for donations by mail, you must ensure that your cheque's and the postmark dates on your envelope are on or before December 31.
Please note that if you divide your donations on a monthly basis by pre-authorized payment, credit card or bank transfer, you will receive a single tax receipt for the total annual amount of your donations. This receipt will be sent to you before February 28 of the following year.

Can I make a donation by cheque or telephone?
