Welcome to Nepal
Yes, after 4 months of preparation and more than 4 Indian and Arabic movies on the plane, here I am Roof of the World! After long flights (Ottawa-Toronto, Toronto-Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi-Kathmandu), I arrived on Nepalese soil on the night of November 5th, a bit jet lagged but really enthusiastic. Fortunately, people from the CECI office in Nepal were there to pick us up (no, I wasn’t alone during my journey on the plane, I was with another Uniterra volunteer!) and to drop us off at the passage house, the CECI house close to the CECI Office, where other Student Without Borders volunteers are staying during their mandates.
And then the real journey could finally begin….
