What is volunteering at CECI?

Volunteering internationally with CECI is a professional and personal commitment. It aims to strengthen the impact of partner organizations through intercultural collaboration based on exchange, respect, and equality. Together, we identify common goals and build sustainable solutions, while critically reflecting on international power dynamics.

Ready to get involved?
To become a volunteer, you must:
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with a permanent address in Canada.
  • Be sensitive to international issues and open to a transformative experience.
  • Be available for an international mission lasting 4 to 12 months, or a few hours a week for a virtual mandate.
  • Have a profile that matches one of our mandates and be selected by a local partner.
