As part of the International Women’s Day, we are pleased to invite you to a “Ciné-Femmes” movie night on Tuesday, March 10 from 6 pm to 8 pm in CECI’s office.

We will be projecting a series of short documentaries presenting the latest achievements of the Uniterra program. Through superb images, you will discover how the Uniterra program has contributed to the economic empowerment of women and to their capacity to enjoy their full rights.

The documentaries chosen for the evening are:

  • Tingo Maria - Cacao y género / Cacao et Genre / Cocoa and Gender
  • Artesanía boliviana / Artisanat bolivien / Bolivian Handicraft
  • Atitlán Recicla / Atitlán Recycle / Atitlán Recycles
  • Radio & Construction Sector in Ghana / La radio & le secteur de la construction au Ghana
  • Uniterra and the Girls Empowerment Network (GENET) In Malawi / Uniterra et GENET au Malawi
  • Uniterra Népal : Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs Association of Nepal (FWEAN)
  • Uniterra : Amani Cultural Tourism in Tanazania / Tourisme Culturel Amani en Tanzanie
  • Uniterra Vietnam : Women Initiative for Start-up and Entrepreneurship (WISE)
  • Plateforme Hub, entrepreneuriat des jeunes femmes / Hub platform, young women entrepreneurship

The screening will be followed by a networking cocktail. 

Entrance is free for all CECI members and we strongly encourage members as well as the general public to come and share this movie night with family or friends.

Suggested contribution for non-members: $25 (CECI sympathizing member subscription) including unlimited popcorn and access to the networking cocktail event.
