CECI is launching a call for applications for our business mentorship program, set to begin in late October 2024. This six-month program offers 10 Canadian and Rwandan women entrepreneurs the chance to build mutually beneficial relationships, enhancing their skills and expertise in key sectors. Mentorship will be conducted virtually (1 hour per week), with the option to stay in Rwanda for 2-3 weeks to further enrich the experience (a financial contribution is required). Comprehensive training on business mentorship will also be provided.
We are looking for Canadian women entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:
- More than 50% of the business is owned by individuals identifying as women.
- A predominantly female executive team.
- A business that mainly employs women and offers products/services for women.
- Management and governance practices that integrate gender equity.
Profiles sought for matching:
- Agri-food : Entrepreneur specializing in processed products – assignment in French.
- Bio-fertilizers : Entrepreneur specializing in sustainable fertilizer production – assignment in English.
- Social economy : Entrepreneur who founded a social enterprise or works with recycled materials – assignment in English.
- Coffee : Entrepreneur in the coffee sector, looking to optimize cost structures and/or improve HR management practices or collaborate with Canadian roasters – assignment in French.
- Recycled fashion accessories or eco-friendly fashion : Entrepreneur with a marketing strategy focused on the eco-responsibility of their products – assignment in English.
