Resilient Productive Territories (RPT-2)

The Resilient Productive Territories (RPT) project is a Government of Haiti initiative in the fight against climate change, jointly led by the MARNDR and the Ministry of the Environment. The project is being implemented in four areas of the Nippes Department in Haiti.
The International Agricultural Alliance (made up of the three Canadian NGOs CECI, SOCODEVI and UPA DI) was selected by the MARNDR through a competitive process as a Service Provider Operator (SPO). Its mandate is to deliver agricultural incentives and establish Farmer Field Schools in the watersheds of Bondeau, Petite Rivière de Nippes, Rivière Froide and the Baconnois area (Nippes Department), as part of investments in resilient and sustainable agriculture and ecosystems.

of land supported through incentives including 323.53 hectares during the 2022-2023 winter agricultural season and 1,740.47 hectares during the 2023 spring season.

farmers received agricultural incentives including 3,071 women (43.32%) who benefited during the 2022-2023 winter and 2023 spring agricultural seasons.
