The Community and Ecosystem Resilience Improvement Project in Response to Climate Change Along the Great Green Wall Corridor (PAREC-CC/GMV), implemented over five years, addressed the main climate-related and human-induced drivers of land degradation. The project received CAD $25 million in funding from Canadian cooperation. This support helped strengthen the mitigation capacity and resilience of ecosystems and communities, particularly women and young people, in the face of climate change.

Economic Interest Groups (EIGs) received training that strengthened their understanding of organizational dynamics, helping optimize operations and foster collaborative working environments.
