What is volunteering at CECI?

Your mandate consists primarily of working with a local organization and supporting its initiatives. Being a volunteer is a human, professional, and intercultural experience where you learn as much as you share. You put your skills to work with local partners to strengthen women's economic independence and communities' resilience in the face of climate challenges.

Why volunteer with CECI?

  • Make a lasting impact: Participate in social transformation initiatives by sharing your expertise.
  • Build unique relationships: Collaborate with local partners and inspired volunteers.
  • Benefit from comprehensive support: Enjoy personalized coaching and financial support to cover your living expenses.
  • Expand your international experience: Join a global network and develop your professional skills.
  • Have an unforgettable experience: Transform your life through a meaningful experience.

To become a volunteer, you must:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident with a permanent address in Canada

  • Demonstrate an interest in global issues and a willingness to engage in a transformative experience

  • Be available for a 9- to 12-month assignment
