On October 31, CECI held its Annual General Meeting, an exciting gathering that brought together more than 100 people.
CECI reported very strong results for 2014-2015 in a presentation demonstrating that, despite these challenging times, significant progress had been made in terms of our project portfolio, strengthening strategic partnerships and pursuing financial diversification.

Participants included international guests such as the Regional Directors and representatives from our country offices as well as delegates from two new advisory committees created in Haiti and Nepal. These two countries are part of a pilot project for our 2014-2019 strategic plan, which aims to make our country offices self-sufficient.

Several noteworthy structural changes were made this year and incorporated into CECI’s updated by-laws. Under the enhanced governance structure, CECI can now take on associate members and we have thus welcomed 13 new Quebec civil society organizations into our corporate body.
