CECI is proud to announce the participation of Rokhaya Solange MBENGUE NDIR, a Senegalese volunteer from the Women Entrepreneurs in Solidarity project, as a panellist at this event.
Originally from Saint-Louis, Senegal, Rokhaya has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. As Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Public Relations at Sonatel/Orange, she designs and implements impactful projects in essential areas such as education, health, environmental protection, youth and women's employability, and digital transformation.
A graduate of the École des hautes études internationales de Paris and the ISM in Dakar, she holds a master's degree in geopolitics, political science, and international relations. In recognition of her career and commitment, she was awarded the French National Order of Merit in February 2020.
In addition to her career, she is actively engaged in promoting women's empowerment.
Founder and owner of Passo (a concept store and brand launched in 2021), Rokhaya showcases local Senegalese craftsmanship through authentic, high-quality, and sustainable creations. The luxury leather goods offered by Passo embody African elegance while highlighting Senegal's rich cultural heritage and artisanal expertise.
Beyond being a brand, Passo is a vision and a lifestyle—a collection of essentials that accompany daily life while educating people on the value of Senegalese culture.
Her participation in the WEDO Montreal 2025 Summit demonstrates the power of international exchange and solidarity and illustrates CECI's mission to support women entrepreneurs in achieving their full potential.
WEDO (Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organization) is the largest global movement dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering women entrepreneurs. Celebrated every November at the UN and in 144 countries, WEDO Day inspires women to create businesses, stimulate economic growth, and advance communities.
