CECI – Armande Bégin and Yves Petillon Fund's team is running for the women of Mali!
Join friends of CECI and the Armande Bégin and Yves Pétillon Fund on April 18 and 19 at Parc Jean-Drapeau to run or walk 1, 5, 10, or 21 km and raise funds.
This year, funds will be raised to support Malian women living in regions severely affected by climate change, insecurity, and economic precariousness. Despite difficult conditions, repeated droughts, water scarcity, and instability, these women play an essential role at the heart of their families and communities.
Every day, they cultivate the fields, process crops, provide for their households, feed their children, and maintain community life, often with very limited resources.
How will the funds raised be used?
- Training in good agroforestry practices in the face of climate change
- Entrepreneurship training to strengthen their leadership and financial independence
- Tools and equipment to develop new income-generating activities
How can you participate?
- Express your interest: fill out this pre-registration form
- Register: you will receive a message with the procedure to follow to register for the race. Registration fees are covered by CECI if you commit to raising a minimum of $250 per person.
