CECI-Benin supports the resilience of ecosystems in the face of climate change, with an approach guided by food security and economic growth. Our actions focus on strengthening the role of women, their communities and local organizations in their efforts to adapt to climate change. We also develop projects in support of agricultural sectors and ecosystems in climate-vulnerable areas. Our initiatives also aim to strengthen the green economy sector.

CECI-Benin supports initiatives that promote inclusive governance and decentralization of power. Our actions focus on the involvement, leadership and effective participation of women in decision-making bodies.

To boost women's incomes, CECI-Benin builds the capacity of cooperatives and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We support their growth and strengthen their capacity to provide innovative services by fostering access to financing and encouraging the development of profitable inclusive markets.

CECI-Benin supports the advancement of women and girls' rights in various ways, like strengthening the capacities of civil organizations by developing and monitoring awareness projects. These projects and activities aim to reduce gender-based violence and give women and girls access to better-quality social services and capital (land, credit, etc.).
