Global Affairs Canada with CECI's counterpart of 204 179 $CAN
In November 2013, Typhoon Haiyan, one of the most intense cyclones on record, wreaked havoc in the Visayas region. On December 6, 2014, it was Typhoon Hagupit’s turn to sweep through the area. After deploying humanitarian assistance, CECI and its partners wanted to take a global approach to implementing risk-mitigating mechanisms for affected populations. In this context, CECI and its partner, CONCERN Inc., are launching an “Economic recovery and risk mitigation” project.
